Odin as Brihaspati

Not everyone agreed with my association of Woden with the Vedic era sage god Brihaspati, but I stick by it. I refer not to the medieval Brihaspati (Jupiter) but to the Vedic Brihaspati, favourite guru of Lord Indra, said to have been appointed as the priest of the Devas during their war with the Asuras. He he did not have the skill of Necromancy which gave the Asuras an advantage, therefore, his son Kacha, whose name means sage, was sent to learn necromancy from Shukracharya, the guru of the Asuras.
Like Brihaspati and his son, we see that Odin/Woden is the sage god, as I said in my video "Who is Woden", he performs all priestly activities for the gods, giving himself as a sacrifice to himself, and even performing the first ever sacrifice with his brothers in Gylfaginning.
More specifically, Odin learned seiðr from the Vanir. There was a conflict between Aesir and Vanir, yet Odin had to learn magic from them. He became a necromancer and a god of the dead. The 12th rune he learned from his sacrifice allowed him to speak with the dead, bringing them back like the Mrita Sanjivini mantra does.
"A twelfth I know, if high on a tree
I see a hanged man swing;
So do I write  and color the runes
That forth he fares,
And to me talks."

Remember that the root meaning of "rune" is esoteric secret and it is therefore essentially a magical formula like a mantra. The parallels between these stories are quite obvious. An additional parallel may be found in the part of the myth in which Kacha is killed by the Asuras and his remains are mixed with wine, which is imbibed by his master - a story reminiscent of the Norse myth in which the wisest man, Kvasir, is murdered by dwarves who blend his blood with honey to make the divine mead....

Slight mistake, brihaspati is Thor, because brihaspati in english translates to Thursday, which is Thor's day.

Odin would be shukracharya of vedas.

Hi Peter. You are mistaken. The equivalent day is not relevant. Germanic people adopted a 7 day week from the Romans and assigned days based on rough equivalents to gods of the Roman pantheon, so Jove was seen as being like Thor, but when looking for equivalents in terms of actual metaphysical functions, we look at other factors.

Brihaspati(Hindu) is Gothi/Gooi(Norse) as a Norse priest who is very involved during Baldur's death and makes sacrifices and does other things for Thor.

Baldur and Thor are brothers, just like Osiris and his elder Brother who was killed; Horus, the elder(Not the younger, which is Osiris and Isis Sun), Baldur was killed. Baldur was also older than Thor, Just like Horus the Elder was older than Osiris and considered Bright, etc like Baldur. Osiris is next in line as ruler, and Thor becomes the main steak in Norse.

Gothi is(who is Brihaspati) is Tehuti(Huhi,Thut,Djehuti, Thoth) is goTHI, briHASPATI(Haspati-Tehuti-Gothi).

Thor had sons. One of their names were Magni means Mighty “Mægtig” He is the son of Thor and the Jotun woman Jarnsaxa. Magni has a brother named Modi. Magni and his brother Modi, will inherit Thor's hammer Mjölnir after Ragnarök. Magni has a horse named Goldfaxi, which is almost as fast as Sleipnir, Odin's horse. Magni seems to be Heru, the younger/Hercules.

So, the "Jesus" for each of the "Gods" after their Creator Gods would be

1. Heru(Horus), Son of Osiris, whose father Amun became Amun-Ra to give life to Heru.

2. Hercules(Heracles for Rome so we can skip Rome), Son of Zues but not necessarily Orion like Egptian(Kemetic) myhtology...The Boiotians also had their own stories about the stellar hunter. According to their version of his myth Orion was born when three gods--Zeus, Poseidon and Hermes--urinated on a bull-hide and buried it in the earth to provide King Hyrieus with a son and heir. Orion's name is derived from the ancient Greek word oros "mountain" or from ourios "urine" and equivalent to the Greek word for Heaven "Ouranos" which the Egyptians said they came from. Either way, Greek has documented getting their doctrine from the Egyptians, even before the major take overs.

3. Thor and his son(s). Odin was the most powerful and magical just like Zues, which is why they're equated, not necessarily because of their specific attributes, but because of their role in each culture, which were passed down and/ore plagiarized from older ones. Just like Osiris, Thor has a son he passes his Throne and/or magic down to. His name Magni means Mighty “Mægtig” He is the son of Thor and the Jotun woman Jarnsaxa. Magni has a brother named Modi. Magni and his brother Modi, will inherit Thor's hammer Mjölnir after Ragnarök. Magni has a horse named Goldfaxi, which is almost as fast as Sleipnir, Odin's horse. And being that Osiris basically is Heru, himself resurrected. Horus receives the Eye of Ra, and Magni receives Thors Hammer. Both the Hammer and the Eye of Heru are directly connected to "Perception" as both of them have to do with Lightning/Light, which can represent Wisdom.

4. Hanuman from Hinduism, which is a reincarnation of Shiva and Devotee of Ram(Vishnu's incarnation; of the aspects of their creator, Vishnu, Brahma and Shiva whom are the same deity in different forms and are the same as Zues, Amun and Odin). Though, similarly to the other stories of this HERO character, he isn't born of Shiva, he is born of earthly parent(s) somewhat like Jesus, his earthly parents were Anjani(Mother) and Kesari(Father). His mother was a Devotee of Lord Shiva, his heavenly self. Just like Jesus.

Just to note, the reasons these cultures changed or don't have the same exact concepts as their Father, Kemet, was due to invasion, plagiarism, etc... Which would be the effect of Hatred, jealousy and confusion. Stick with the most ancient if you don't mind it. Else, you're using copies or versions that were assisted by the Ancient Kemites(Egyptians.) And yes, there are way more similarities than i've mentioned. Just keyword a lot of this and do your due diligence.

Odin hung himself from a tree, pierced himself with his spear, and lived on air to know the secret of the runes. Shukra hung himself from a tree upside down and inhaled smoke for a thousand years to know the secrets of raising the dead.

Both are famous for losing an eye. One is the preceptor of Asura and the other is the preceptor of Aesir. Both had a head as an assistant; head of Mimir for Odin and head of Rahu for Shukra. Both are poets. Both Aesir and Asura are hedonistic factions of gods.

One of the remedies for Shukra in vedic astrology is to feed crows (also for Rahu and Shani since Rahu and Shani are friendly to Shukra).

It's from quora.
