Thank you for making this documentary about a people not represented enough, and most certainly not represented accurately enough in media! You did a great job on this, blending historical, archaeological and genetic data points to describe one of the more important yet illusive aspects of Scythian culture, their religion. I know this video will end up being the introduction into the world of the ancient Scythians for many people, and rightfully so as there is no other youtube content covering the Scythians that compares to this one.

Love your videos. I happened to know some slavic languages and I have to share a rather far stretch observation for the possible evolution of the word TAPATI in slavic languages. It is pretty remarkable that TAPATI -> TOPITI (from Proto-Slavic *topiti https://www.wordsense.eu/topiti) means TO MELT. Furthermore, in belarusian ТАПIЦI has the meaning of TO BURN FIREWOOD vs. ПОТАПIЦI which means to PULL WATER OVER or also to FLOOD (POTOP). Such meaning is commonly spread in modern Ukrainian, Russian, Serbian, Croatian, Macedonian, etc. One can speculate that in SCYTHIAN this could have been a part of the creation myth story, when the seeds of FIRE turn into rivers of WATER to reflect on the life-giving myth of engendering. And certainly, the proto-indo-european word AGNI does mean FIRE or ОГОНЬ.
